Ingredients
  • 6 Each Pork Chops
  • 2 cup Self Rising Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 Each Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Peprika
  • Salt and pepper to tasty
  • 1 cup Shortening
Instructions
  1. Pork Chops

    Lay out pork chops to allow them to get to room temperature. Then tenderize with a kitchen mallet. 

  2. Breading

    Combine all dry ingredients with flour in a large bowl. Then beat the eggs with the milk in a separate bowl.

  3. Preparing the skillet

    Put shortening in a skillet and heat on medium to medium-high. You want the shortening to be about 350*F. Be careful not to get the skillet too hot.  

  4. Cooking

    Coating the pork chops in the egg wash and then flour twice then placing them into the skillet. Allow to cook for about 3 - 5 minutes on each side or until desired crispness. You will want the pork chops internal temp to be above 240*F.
